Songs we love to hate

Music is an amazing thing. You can be hanging around minding your own business when a song comes on you haven't heard in years and it transports you to a far off summer day, a different decade, a torrid love affair, the birth of a baby or a somber experience. You can also be hanging around minding your own business when a song comes on (usually in a grocery store) and it transports you back to why you hate it - always hated it. And of course it lurks in your head for hours afterward, maybe even days. I've compiled a short list of my most dreaded songs (so now, as you can imagine, they are all stuck in my head in a jumbled mess). They are listed in no particular order. Feel free to add to the list!

1. Spiders and Snakes by Jim Stafford

2. Afternoon Delight by The Starland Vocal Band

3. Billy Don't Be A Hero by Paper Lace

4. Skyscraper by Demi Lovato

5. Pina Colada Song by Rupert Holmes

6. You Light Up My Life by Debbie Boone

7. Honey by Bobby Goldsboro

8. I've Never Been To Me by Charlene

9. Loving You by Minnie Ripperton

10. and last but not least: Delta Dawn by Helen Reddy

What about If I Said You Had a Beautiful Body (would you hold it against me) UGH! It has to be right up there with the worst!
